Morning delivery cutoffs and kitchen prep slots

How next-day restock cutoffs and optional express windows relate to prep staffing — without inventing live fulfilment SLAs.

Restock versus urgent lanes

Wholesale restock lanes are built around an ordering cutoff so early-morning routes can be batched for kitchen receiving windows. Express or same-day windows, where offered for a serviceable pincode, carry their own cutoff and fee rules.

Buyers should book a receiving window when prep staff will be at the dock — cold-chain SKUs should not sit with doors open while the team arrives.

Check serviceability first

Use the coverage / pincode check before assuming a hub can promise a slot. Hub lists on the public site are serviceability guidance for launched corridors — not a claim that every Indian city is live.

Honesty bound

Published cutoffs describe product behaviour. Measured OTIF, fill rate, and cold-chain breach rates belong in operational scorecards after live evidence — not in marketing posts.
