Place-of-supply GST on HoReCa purchase orders

How Restroneed invoices split CGST+SGST versus IGST from integer-paise line totals, using Foodondoor Private Limited as the legal seller.

Why place of supply matters

B2B kitchen orders need tax lines that match the buyer organisation’s place of supply. Restroneed prices every line in integer paise and applies place-of-supply rules when the order is placed — not as a post-hoc spreadsheet adjustment.

Intra-state orders raise CGST and SGST. Inter-state orders raise IGST. The legal seller on every Restroneed invoice remains Foodondoor Private Limited.

What buyers should verify

Confirm the organisation GSTIN and shipping state before checkout so the tax split matches how your accounts team books input credit.

If a line is rejected at dock under returns QC, tax follows the credit note path — do not net GST offline against a later cash payment.

What this article is not

This is a product explainer for how Restroneed computes GST on platform orders. It is not tax advice and does not publish live city OTIF or warehouse utilisation figures.
